Brief
The DRH Collection is an East London-based distributor representing the UK for ceramics and glassware from France and America.
They required a new catalogue to showcase the 2008 collection of whitewares, glassware and giftsets, and be the marketing tool for trading with the retail and hotel & restaurant industries.
The catalogue needed to be impressive to reflect the exquisite products on offer to high-end clients, such as Harrods.
Solution
Their previous catalogue from 2007 was in A5 format. We proposed up-scaling the new catalogue to A4 size to add a luxurious premium feel with the accompanying price list booklet in the same format for consistency.
The new design is clean and minimal with plenty of white space to reflect majority of products being whiteware and mainly used for catering purposes. Large images are used for introductory sections to add dynamism to the design, and pages are kept white to maintain a clean and uncluttered layout, allowing the products to speak for themselves. Captions sit directly below each item for instant accessibility of dimensions and capacities.
With the majority of products being white ceramics or clear glassware, the images are carefully colour-corrected to ensure colour and tone consistency and ensured the images are visible against the white paper.
48pp, colour, 210×297mm.
