Brief
Fashion label, Gia London, needed a professional and creative brand for their sexy and playful womenswear.
The brand needed a new identity and stationery which encapsulated the essence of summer all year round. A mailer was also required to hand out to prospects at fashion trade shows and to customers at the stall.
Solution
A classic and unique identity is devised to capture the warm glowing feel of summer and nostalgia of childhood memories.
The identity is warm and feminine, with the logotype playing homage to the exotic Indian/English background of the brand. Supporting nude pink foliage adds playfulness and nostalgia from years ago.
The mailer uses an emotive image on the front of a woman in Gia clothing feeling sexy in a warm setting. The back reinforces the message and encourages the reader to find out more.

Client feedback
‘Gia London who required a very professional brand package and website to launch its into an international trade arena.
During the design experience, I found what seemed an impossible task to be simply directed and excellently organised. With a million different things going on in my head, coupled with frequent trips abroad, I found the project an absolute joy because of Double Sided’s professionalism, practical commentary, break down of tasks and task deadlines.
Both John and Tam directed my thoughts following a step by step process which allowed me to feel like I was in total control of my brand concept and future direction. At the same time they advised me to be more commercially aware and gave me practical advice about what my audience needed.
The thing I liked most about working with Double Sided is that I felt they delivered more than I expected in terms of service and they were so down to earth and unpretentious about their skills and experience.
I also felt that they had developed a very good way of understanding their client’s needs and respond very specifically to the individual.
The outcome of the projects was fantastic from a design point of view but also from a commercial point of view. I feel like I now have the right foundations to begin at that higher level which I am aiming for.’
