Alcohol Concern HubCAPP branding

Client

Alcohol Concern is the national UK agency on alcohol misuse. Founded in 1984, the charity works to reduce alcohol-related harm and to increase services to people with alcohol problems and their families.

Brief

Branding was required for a new Alcohol Concern initiative for health professionals to share their projects and strategies across the UK. Called Hub of Commissioned Alcohol Projects & Policies (HubCAPP), the printed collateral (identity, flyer and banner stand) are to be used to launch this web initiative.

Our approach

We designed the HubCAPP branding to be within the Alcohol Concern corporate guidelines and illustrated lines to connect different points. This captured the purpose of HubCAPP by links to connect projects and policies, supported by the iconic sunflower image – the sunflower itself being a hub for many tiny sunflower seeds.

Result

When the brand was exhibited, curious delegates headed to the stand to find out more. As a result of the exhibition and marketing material, the majority of web visitors (39%) come directly to the site and there are now over 40 projects listed with more being added all the time.

Double Sided also designed a website for HubCAPP.
