Diamond Dust is a wardrobe management and personal styling service set up by fashion stylist Alexia Somerville. Diamond Dust has styled celebrities such as Rachel Weisz, George Michael, Robbie Williams and Pink.
Brief
Double Sided was commissioned to design a fun, high-end, and chic website which appeals to celebrities who require personal styling and wardrobe management. The premium site had to feel exclusive to attract the right type of clients.
Our approach
Celebrities tend to be jet-setters. And jetsetters like to stay in luxurious hotels furnished with beautiful decor. Double Sided carried out extensive research into designer chairs from the 60s, such as Finish designer Arne Jacobsen, then illustrated and designed an exploratory flash site based around this luxurious hotel concept. Visitors are rewarded with animated elements as they discover information about the bespoke service.
Features such as the Diamond Dust fashion blog established Alexia Somerville as a leading source of style guidance and encourages people to return to the site.
