Pump House Gallery
Client
Pump House Gallery is a restored grade II listed building located on the lakeside in Battersea Park. The gallery exhibits work by emerging and established contemporary artists, holds workshops and has a shop.
Brief
Pump House Gallery wanted to create a book to document a series of workshops and exhibitions surrounding craft called ‘Ceremony’.
Our approach
Working collaboratively with artist Brian Reed, the book ‘Ceremony’ encompassed the wide range of craft, featuring cake-decorating, wreath-making and a knitted wedding. Attention to detail was paid to the typography of the book giving it a careful, hand-made feel, which perfectly complimented the subject matter.
Result
The gallery and artists involved were very happy with the book.
